We were so impressed with our reception held at Spring Field in May 2009. From the first moment we viewed the Rose Ballroom, we knew it was the perfect place for us. Not to mention, the price was PERFECT! Sam was our banquet manager and he was extremely pleasant to work with, and very accommodating. The night of our reception, everything was in place and just as we had discussed and planned for. Any incidents that happened, were handled immediately by Sam and our DOC. They worked so well together and made our reception go off without a hitch :) I love the look of the historic building and loved how flexible they were with everything. In fact, our guests are still raving over our reception, and if it wasn't for Spring Field, that wouldn't have been possible. I would definitely recommend them!

The staff here is ALWAYS friendly. If you want to have a party here the staff is very helpful with the whole setup. They can cater to your every needs, like seriously! If you've been looking for a place to have a huge party, a wedding, or a special event this is a GREAT place to have it. They take care of the whole set up and clean up for you. What's also great about this place is the location. Right by Downtown Fullerton. You can walk up and down Chapman and find lots of cute little stores and more restaurants as well.

I used the banquet room for a Mother's Day Tea for 160 women in May 2008. It was an amazing experience for the following reasons:
1. Staff was well-mannered, accommodating and hard working. 2. Jason, the contact person, was on site and available at all times. 3. Food and tea were excellent. 4. We used several multi-media presentations, and their tech guy took care of it all! 5. Clean facilities and restrooms. 6. I ALWAYS have complaints about places, and for once, I have NONE!

I booked at another location for our wedding, only to find out 3 months before our wedding that our reception site was closing down. We called around and most places were booked or more expensive than our previous booking. Spring Field's staff was very helpful during the busy months replanning all the minor details in a short period of time. I found them to be very flexible. The tasting was fun in that we were able to try more food than we could eat. The day of the wedding, the presentation was better than we expected and the guests seem to really enjoy their meal. The servers were so helpful in making sure we had food and drinks at our sweetheart table. They even had the cake ready to go at the end of the night. I was impressed and touched at how friendly and helpful Spring Field was in our most desperate moments!

The wedding we attended was nice. She had her reception in the main ballroom. But they were able to reserve all 3 levels. The bottom level was the main ballroom with a dance floor. The 2nd level was a room where the food was served buffet style, and the 3rd floor overlooked the bottom floor. It's very roomy for a nice-sized wedding and I heard from the bride that this place is very affordable. The great thing is that you can bring your own caterer. I think the exterior of this place looks so pretty. But the interior has an old feeling to it. Lots of parking in a private lot in the back. Definitely would come back again.

My company used Spring Field Banquet & Conference Center for an awards banquet. The facility is very nice, the waitstaff was very accommodating. Our staff and guests all had a good time.

I had my bridal shower in the tea room. I was so pleased with the cute/quaint ambiance, selection of teas (gingerpeach is my favorite), cleanliness, delicious sandwiches, fresh fruit and nice presentation. I have also thrown a bridal shower and will soon be throwing a baby shower (they have decaf teas, too!) at this location. If you don't come wearing a hat, there is a huge selection to choose from (you'll find one to match any outfit/personality).

The server was very kind and attentive to us during our tea. The room was very nicely decorated. I felt like I was in a parlor in an English home. The food was wonderful and the fruit was fresh. I will go back again very soon!

This is one of my favorite tea rooms due to its ambiance and friendly service. I have been multiple times. The tea room is in a beautiful historic building setting the stage for a delightful experience.... The price is reasonable. The owners and servers are polite and do not rush you to leave making this tea room an excellent place to relax and read or chat with a friend.

One of my co-workers had her prom here a few years back, so we decided to come back for its weekend tea. While this place desn't seem to make for much of a prom experience, the weekend tea is quite pleasant. The teacups hanging from a ribbon on the window, and the eclectic mix of china are very cute. Tea here also has a fun little twist, a gigantic hat collection where you can get into the real tea experience. Now, if they had 20s clothing too, that would totally set the mood.
The weekend tea is $18.95 a person, and is pretty well priced. You get a selection of ham and/or turkey sandwiches, finger sandwiches (egg, cucumber, tomato, avocado & tuna), fresh fruit, scones + cream + jam, mini desserts (cheese cake & chocolate covered cream puff) and your own pot of tea. It doesn't look like a lot of food, but we were stuffed. The tea selection is amazing. They have Assam! The first place in the US where I have seen Assam. It's a bit of a nutty black tea that is popular in England. Very good with soy milk. You have to ask for milk or they won't bring you any. That was kind of strange. We had four different pots of tea (white lotus, white orchard, mandarin rose petal, vanilla almond), and all were really good. I got the White Lotus and it was very light with a bit of a ginger kick to it. Very Yummy. The white orchard was very fruity. The mandarin rose petal had a distinct rose smell & taste. The vanilla almond was very fragrant.
Overall, this place doesn't look like much from the outside, I thought it would be more quaint but once you step into the tea room, it does feel like a sweet old lady's living room. The service is pleasant and unhurried. The food is good and there is a broad selection of teas. This place is great for catching up on some girl time.

Thank you so much for your service in preparing for and catering our wedding reception. Sam was very kind in the initial meeting and always followed through. Shelly was very patient in helping us work out the details such as sashes and colors for the table linens in a finalization meeting. She gave Mimi various ideas on what would work. Adjusting the table set up from six to five tables after a few guests cancelled was also not a problem. Sam was able to test our laptop computer to make sure it worked with the projector the day before the reception.
Anna worked with us the day of the reception. She made sure the laptop worked and that everything was in order. Anna also adjusted the format for some songs from regular Word format to a special format to make each song easier to see on the movie screen.
The staff was friendly and helpful. They made sure the guest's teapots were filled and everything was fine. The staff also helped us load the gifts onto a cart for easy transport to our car.
You made the day very easy and very special for us.
Blessings on you all,
Mimi & Henry Nierodzik
